Roberson shares what he learned in his first year as superintendent, his goals for the district and its students as well as the challenges of raising kids in a town with a major university right here. This interview appeared a couple of weeks ago on (The Oxford Charger Podcast) and was a follow up to a conversation in summer of 2021 (linked here). He has previously served the district as a math teacher, coach, athletics director, principal, and assistant superintendent. He shares his experiences in taking a position in Mississippi from out of state, the growth of technology in the classroom as both an asset and hurdle, dealing with ideological diversity in classrooms that often deal with hot topics, and his time with OPC and the PC. Marvin has served on the Oxford Park Commission board as well as with the Planning Commission. Marvin and his wife are very engaged with the Oxford community. King has a dual appointment as a political science professor as well as an African American Studies professor + serves as a Senior Faculty Fellow in the Residential College South at Ole Miss.

He came to Ole Miss in 2005 after earning his PhD in Political Science from North Texas and a BA in Government from UT Austin. Marvin King who has been a part of the Oxford and Ole Miss community for over seventeen years.

Levy and Reynolds previously collaborated on Free Guy, in which Reynolds plays a video game character who becomes self-aware.

Luckily, Scobell effortlessly slid into a cast who has a deep web of past relationships.

He and his team weren’t just looking for physical similarities, and that’s when newcomer Walker Scobell, a Reynolds superfan, came in. And for that to happen, Levy needed to find the perfect younger Reynolds.
